This is the inaugural post of Kai Ta Loipa, and a few comments are in order.
Gentle(wo)men:
1. This blog will be a safe-haven for curiosity in thought, creativity in expression and mixed cross category output of all sorts, including essays, poems, polemics, cartoons, short stories, ideas, inventions and miracles…
2. Our politics are open, willing to be questioned.
3. We will not take ourselves awful serious, vaguely enough to simulate dignity.
4. Finally, in case you were wondering, Kai Ta Loipa comes from the ancient Greek, meaning “and the rest,” and doubles as the name of the silly t-shirt venture Steve and I both run.
